Europe is Getting Closer!
The four NAPA seaports are located at the northern tip of Adriatic sea, a natural waterway that penetrates deep into the middle of the European continent, thus providing the cheapest naval route from the Far East via Suez to Europe with a distance that is about 2,000 Nm shorter than other North-European ports.

The North Adriatic Ports Association – NAPA was present at the bigest logistic fair in Europe, Transport Logistics in Munich. On the second day of the fair the Association has organised an event where the current president of NAPA Zeno d’Agostino, namely Commissioner of Trieste Port Authority has stressed the geostrategic advantages of northern Adriatic ports, while the representatives of the member ports have presented their investment plans to increase cargo capacity in the region.
The association has also benefited from the fair in Munich to present the state of play in memeber ports regarding the project Napa Studies, co-finances by the European Union’s TEN-T program. The project partners from Croatia, Italy and Slovenia are dealing with the development needs of northern Adriatic ports and their connections to the rail corridors and inland waterways.
